Big news:America Cargill Group and Guangdong Nutriera Group signed the strategic cooperation agreement

On the morning of 10th August 2017, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony of America Cargill Group and Guangdong Nutriera Group was grandly held in Guangzhou.

From Cargill Group, the Managing Director of North Asia Mr. Tang Jianguo, Technical Director of China region Dr. Feng Minyi, Business Director of Southern area Mr. Chen Chaowen,  Marketing Manager of Southern area Mr. Zhang Fengxia and the Technical Service Manager of Southern area Mr. Tang Guojie have presented the signing ceremony. And from Guangdong Nutriera, the president Dr. Yang Yong, vice president Dr. Zhang Song, General Manager of Dynaqua Mr. He Zhonghua and other several marketing & technical experts together attended the signing ceremony to witness the significant historical moment.

The Managing Director of North Asia of Cargill Group Mr. Tang Jianguo made a speech for the signing ceremony. He said that the strategic cooperation has great significance for both Cargill and Nutriera. On the one hand, this will let the industry realize that Cargill is an outstanding enterprise who has open minds, willing to learn and work hard. On the other hand, Cargill will provide systemic services for worldwide customers and help them to be more successful by high quality animal health products & professional farming technology on the basis of superior feeds through the cooperation with Nutriera. In addition, Cargill will keep building the service capacity of the market teams and continuously improving the market service systems to help users create values.

 During the signing ceremony, president of Nutriera Dr. Yang Yong expressed sincere thanks for the trust of Cargill. He said that it was great honor to conclude the strategic cooperation with the world’s leading enterprise like Cargill. Nutriera will also cherish such a close opportunity to learn from Cargill and make every effort to do the services. On the one hand, the professional technical services will boost the career development of Cargill aquaculture in China to a higher level. On the other hand, this will also help to promote the progress of the Nutriera through the development and expansion of Cargill Aquatic Group.

Dr. Yang also emphasized the value of aquatic animal health products for feed enterprises. Aquatic animal health products will be the key factor to determine the competitive situation of aquaculture and the fatal weapon to decide the life or death for the development of aqua feeds in the next 10 years. Except for the continuous R&D input for feed technology, Cargill Aquatic Group will surely achieve the business mode of two-wheel drive through strengthening aquatic animal health business.

Cargill Group is one of the largest private holding companies in the world with 150 years development history. Its total running income reached USD 109.7 billion in 2016. And in 2015, it fully owned EWOS Aquatic Feed Group at the amount of USD 1.5 billion (around 10 billion RMB) and established Cargill Aquaculture Nutrition Group by combining with the aquatic business itself.
